Summer Brings Exciting Changes to Feminist Studies

The pace of UCSB campus life has shifted to summer mode, and it is a time of transition and energy recharging for many people.

The Department of Feminist Studies warmly welcomes Assistant Professor Jennifer Tyburczy! You can read here about her research focus and forthcoming book, Sex Museums: http://www.femst.ucsb.edu/people/jennifer-tyburczy-0. Jenn’s dynamic addition to our faculty brings our number to ten.

Our front office staff is shifting, too. We are very happy to welcome Sonya Baker as our Business Officer, and celebrate joyfully Christina Toy’s return from maternity leave as our Undergraduate & Graduate Advisor. Peer advisors Marleen Munoz & April Jackson are working together in the front office, supporting the department and our students in many ways.

These summer 2015 transitions open up new opportunities and growth for our department!
