Spring 2015 Advising

The Undergraduate Advisor, Christina Toy, will not be in the office during the Spring 2015 Quarter.

Please do not email the christina@femst.ucsb.edu address during this time. Any emails sent to this address will receive an automatic reply regarding Christina's absence during this quarter.

Please do not respond to the FEMST or LGBTQ listserves directly if you have any questions concerning your grades or degree audits. Direct these emails to one of the Peer Advisors:

Marleen Munoz:  marleenmunoz@umail.ucsb.edu

April Jackson:  anj@umail.ucsb.edu

Academic advising will be handled by the Peer Advisors during Christina's absence.

*For non-urgent matters: Christina will be back during the summer to help with summer course management and Fall 2015 registration issues.

*Note for graduating seniors: Please keep in mind that degrees do not clear immediately in June. Christina will most likely be back in the office before Spring 2015 degrees actually clear, so do not panic if you feel that there are still issues that you need to resolve with Christina specifically.

If you would like to come in for general advising, help with course schedules, or to declare the FEMST major/minor or LGBTQ minor, you are welcome to set up an appointment with one of the Peer Advisors or stop by the Main Office (SH 4631). If you would like to set up an appointment, you can email one of the Peer Advisors or call the Main Office at (805) 893-4330.

Please note that if you would like to set up an appointment, it will be within one of these times:

Monday 9 AM - 3 PM

Tuesday 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Wednesday 9 AM - 3 PM

Thursday 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Friday 10 AM - 2:30 PM

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. The Peer Advisors are normally not in the office outside of the times listed above, however some general questions/concerns may be answered by other department members in the office. Completed forms (e.g., Idependent Studies) may be turned in at any time during normal office hours or placed in one of the Peer Advisor's mailboxes in the FEMST Mailroom.
